Escape Bryggen is 10!
And to celebrate this amazing milestone we have a very special event planned. We have 10 fiendish puzzles lined up: be the first to solve all 10 and win a genuine shipwrecked golden coin worth almost 50,000kr!
Over the next 6 months (from 19/11/24 - 18/5/25), 9 puzzles will be made freely available online on our social media platforms. A 10th puzzle will be given (at no extra cost) to any participant of our physical games (from 20/11/24 onwards), be that an Escape Room/outdoor game or one of the extraordinary games we can bring to you. If you have already played all our games (indoor and out) then don't worry, just send us a message and we will 5end you the puzzle.
To help you on your way you should know that each of the 9 puzzles released online will give you a piece of a map, but that the map is useless without the 10th puzzle...
The first person to solve all ten puzzles and complete the final task will become rich beyond their wildest dreams (excluding any dream whose wildness exceeds 50,000kr). How do you begin and where is the first puzzle? Well, congratulations, you have just read it! So now get solving, and good luck!

The Prize!
Escape Bryggen has obtained (don't ask us how...) an authentic gold ducat from the famous Akerendam Shipwreck. This dutch trading vessel was wrecked in 1725 and thought to have been lost for all time until her discovery in 1972, 200km north of Bergen. The coin is 14k gold and set within a beautiful skull and crossbones mounting, but its true value lies in its rarity and unique place in Norwegian - and world - history.
Terms and Conditions
• The competition is only open to Norwegian residents aged 18 and over.
• The competition is not open to employees (past or present) of No Escape AS, or any friends/family/associates of No Escape AS employees (sorry Tonje!).
• The prize is not physically hidden anywhere (nor is it kept on site at Escape Bryggen).
• No puzzle will require you to commit a crime. If you think you need to commit a crime, you're doing it wrong. We can't believe we need to spell this out.
• The winner will be adjudicated solely by No Escape AS and No Escape AS reserves the right to disqualify any competitor (for cheating or for any other reason).
• Any attempt to infiltrate, steal, hack, socially engineer, or otherwise dishonestly obtain the solutions to the competition tasks will be considered cheating and result in disqualification.
• The winning prize will be awarded to a single individual only (cooperation is allowed but if teams wish to split the prize they will need to make their own internal agreements on how to do so).
• The winning prize will be awarded in person (and in person only - we won't be posting it, sorry!) at a location in Bergen, shortly after the competition has been judged to have been won.
• It is the responsibility of the winner to declare/pay any necessary taxes they may incur by winning this prize.
